Discografia de Elvis Presley Compilations (1986-1991) Vol 3
Elvis ensayaba junto a el contrabajista Bill Black y el guitarrista Scotty Moore. En 1954 decidieron grabar dos canciones "That´s All Right Mama" y "Blue Moon of Kentucky".
Ninguna de las dos alcanzó suficiente repercusión pero su difusión fue suficiente para que Elvis se decidiera a dejar su trabajo e iniciar una carrera como músico profesional.
Al primer disco siguieron otros y también actuaciones en directo. Las melodías que tocaba el trío se basaban en música vaquera.
A finales de 1954 hubo de presentarse ante el juez acusado de dejar embarazada a una de las fundadoras de su primer club de fans pero fue declarado inocente.
El empresario Tom Parker, convenció al cantante y a su madre para que aceptasen sus servicios cómo representante y manager.
No había terminado 1955 cuando la gigante RCA lo contrató por cuarenta mil dólares y organizó una importante campaña publicitaria entorno a su figura.
