El álbum debut de la banda británica de heavy metal Black Sabbath, publicado en 1970, alcanzó el top 10 en Alemania, Francia y Reino Unido y llegó al puesto veintitrés del Billboard 200.
Never Say Die! fue el último álbum de estudio grabado con la formación inicial, ya que Osbourne fue despedido y comenzó una exitosa carrera en solitario.
Su sustituto fue Ronnie James Dio, que debutó participando en Heaven and Hell (1980). Este trabajo tuvo mejor recepción que sus dos antecesores y fue el primero de la banda en recibir un disco de oro de la BPI.
